The Cycle 1 packages, checkpoint and exit requirements.

06 — Research Program v0.1

Cycle 1 — Foundations Under Test

RP002A: E0 present sufficient; E1 present aliased/history informative; E2 history variable/future-irrelevant. Baselines B0 current observation, B1 finite history, B2 recursive learned state, B3 generator oracle. Goal: boundary of history usefulness.

RP003: transitive control, monotonic drift, out-and-back loop, critical jump. Goal: local/global preservation boundaries and counterexamples.

RP004: linear succession, copy, fork, independent duplicate, merge. Goal: lineage representation requirements vs current-state equivalence.

RP005A: formal baseline pure edge removal cannot expand structural reachability; V0 restriction unnecessary, V1 correct restriction protects viable targets, V2 harmful restriction removes useful futures.

Parallel: DAM X archaeology.

Checkpoint A after RP002A/RP003 validates graph, contracts, collision protocol and negative/surprise handling.

Cycle exit: four packages closed/documented blocked; DAM X pilot; forward/backward graph validation; Synthesis Review 1; Foundation Review 1; Cycle 2 generated from evidence.

Future seeds are not frozen: continuation representation, open-world sufficiency, relational sufficiency, revision governance, temporal representation, meaning, mechanism selection, structural transfer.

Program continuity

Autorite itself is open-ended and never reaches a terminal CLOSED state. Individual Cycles are finite and closable. Every closed Cycle must publish its results, synthesis, open questions and a frozen knowledge-state snapshot. The next Cycle is generated from the evidence and transition review of the previous Cycle.
